" width="300" height="225" />
Free PPC Management For A Month?

I will make this quick ’cause I really need to get some sleep – George Brown has just launched the Google Sniper, a great course for folks trying to make it in affiliate marketing.

The course doesnt cost nearly a 1/3 of what I charge for my services (PPC management is about $897, in average), but I believe it’s such a good course I’m willing to put my little outsource staff to work for it. Plus, they really need the practice

So you’re getting:

- market and keyword research – 2 campaigns setup – all the ad copy – ongoing split tests (including website optimizer) - and an entire month of optimization. And everything stays with you after 30 days, clean and profitable. All for $77 bucks!

I’d have come up with more appropriate bonus for this if I wasnt so lazy, but what the heck – I know it will be worth in the long run when folks realize PPC is not that difficult (or maybe I will lose potential clients… huh)

So if you’re trying to make your affiliate business work, get Google Sniper through this cleverly disguised affiliate link:

marketandconvert.com/sniper

Make sure you clear your cookies before you go to that page, or you may send the sale to another affiliate.

All you have to do after you buy it is post a comment here and I will get in touch with you to work out the details.Similar Posts:

No More PPC For Amazon Affiliates

It’s official now: Amazon will not pay commissions on purchases originated from paid search traffic anymore.

From the message sent from Amazon Associates:

After careful review of how we are investing our advertising resources, we have made the decision to no longer pay referral fees to Associates who send users to www.amazon.com, www.amazon.ca, or www.endless.com through keyword bidding and other paid search on Google, Yahoo, MSN, and other search engines, and their extended search networks.

This decision comes in at a time when Google is fighting direct linking (ads that link straight to a company website), suspending affiliate advertisers’ accounts and restricting entire industries from their Adwords program.

What is surprising in regards to Amazon’s decision is the fact that paid search traffic was benefitial to ALL parts involved:

the searcher, for finding exactly what they wanted;

Amazon, for the “free” customer, and

Google, for the Adwords revenue.

Amazon does not offer any decent explanation (from their FAQ):

Q: Why is Amazon no longer paying referral fees to paid search Associates?
A: This decision is based on our review of how we invest our advertising resources.

The way I see it, by transferring the onus of marketing to Amazon Associates, Amazon is actually SAVING advertising resources. More than often, Marketing costs for corporations such as Amazon add up to more than the 15-20% commission paid to Associates.

With the Associates program, Amazon was able to cut advertising costs, reduce their cost of sales, and increase their conversions, since referral traffic is the most targeted traffic one can ask for.

And the whole mess goes even deeper:

Q: Does this affect paid search Associates who send users to Amazon’s European and Japanese websites?
A: This change applies only to the Associates Programs in North America. If you are conducting paid search activities in connection with one of Amazon’s Associates Programs outside of the US and Canada, please refer to the applicable country’s Associates Program Operating Agreement for relevant terms and conditions.

The decision is ONLY effective to North America!

Basically, if I go into my Adwords account and change my destination URLs and campaign locations to Japan, everything is just fine. Hypocrisy?

—-

P.S – From now on, I’ll buy my books from Half.com

F!#K Amazon!

Similar Posts:

One of my goals for 2009 is to start a new brand, and implement an automated marketing system that would make Mike Dillard and Jay Kubassek ask me for advice.

The first drawing of my marketing system was made about 3 days ago, and while I was rounding up feedback from experienced marketers that I trust, some additions were made. This is not – by far – the ultimate plan, but I wanted to open the debate to other networkers, as I have never seen any marketing expert publicize their plans.

2009 Marketing System

So, my Social Media participation is on the top – it is the beginning of my customer experience cycle

These actions point towards the welcome page, which will be a blog (for easy update purposes – Im an html illiterate) – The blog will host valuable free content, as I do with this one already, but highly focused information.

From the blog, targeted readers would then be redirected to lead capture pages, which have been designed to solve specific “pains” – each page will lead to an appropriate product. (im listing Mike’s products here, but these are just examples)

Before they get to the final product page, however, their information is captured into my autoresponder; in order to provide great CRM (Customer Relationship Management), I will bluntly offer tons of free training, to build value towards my brand equity & to strengthen my market share on the customers’ Inbox.

The autoresponder training also points to an specific product, as an “if you would like to know more, check this out”.

Notice that the “free-training” does not stop at week 4 – it goes on indefinitely, which leads me my next domination plan:

With this marketing system integration in place, running smoothly thanks to my “social media – one hour a day” efforts, my brand equity will explode without me blowing my budget – and the “free-training” slots could be occupied by future joint-ventures.

This is the basis upon which Mike Filsaime, Frank Kern, Yanik Silver, and others will acknowledge me as THE super affiliate. Coming soon to your inbox.

Better Networkers, please respond at this thread:

So, Chris Brogan (chrisbrogan.com) twitted about Seth Godin’s post on Pricing. Funny how this post came to be.

What can an internet marketer apply to pricing? How can you benefit from product pricing, if you’re just promoting somebody else’s product? There’s nothing you can do, right?

Wrong!

In marketing 101, you learn the 4 Ps of Marketing: Product, Pricing, Placement, Promotion. They represent basic concepts applicable to any product/service, and the 4Ps are ALL the tools you need for a successful campaign.

When promoting affiliate products, or your own product, online, pricing will determine: Target Market & Cost of Advertisement

Target Market

When considering the Placement part of your campaign, you determine the niche that would benefit from the most from your product. Pricing, however, determines who within that market will be attracted to your product, and when.

A lower price product guarantees an entry level approach, as it satisfies newcomers looking for general information, for a new experience, or that are willing to “try it out”; in internet marketing, products in this category are successfully used to start a relationship with your market. Notice I said “start” – due to its perceived value, lower price products require a much smaller decision-making process, less market research, and do not require much of a commitment from the buyer.

When marketing a higher price product, however, your market becomes much narrower, as it requires more research from your buyers, who’ll want to see customer reviews, check the competition, and educate themselves on the subject. Their decision-making process will take longer, and possibly involve a third-party. Their commitment is much greater, generates calls to your customer centers, and the perceived value of your product elevates their expectations.

Obviously, a $27 e-book sells differently than a $150 paperback book, no matter which subject. That is because of the perceived value of a $150 book; the experience provided by a book of higher value is expected to be of a much greater impact, have better quality material, and offer original content.

Advertisement Costs

When marketing lower-ticket items, a wider approach on your marketing campaigns is encouraged, as you’re expanding your presence to new customers. It is acceptable to use institutional campaigns to push that entry-level item, securing your visibility and brand equity. Such approach is advised with extreme caution, as tracking your ROI can be quite difficult (see this post)

For higher-ticket items, however, a specific, personalized, “sniper” campaign is the most effective. Your budget should focus on promoting within your customer-base, taking advantage of buyers who purchased your entry-level item, educating them to realize how they would benefit immensely from a premium/advanced/unique product. Direct-response campaigns, community building, educated support center and bonus prizes are examples of customized efforts your customers expect based on the perceived value of your product.

Next time you’re on Clickbank picking your next product-to-be, think about what marketing actions are you in position to make: are you building a list? go with lower ticket items, and blast your campaign throughout your niche. Have a huge list, evangelical customers? Grab a higher priced item, and personalize your campaign to those customers.

Pricing is key for personalization.Similar Posts:
