I’d like to take the time to list some of my most recent accomplishments, which have changed my life from a 20 years old teenager, getting drunk and trying to get lucky, to a proud father, passionate husband, and uprising marketer.

I came to this country in April of 2006 to work as a waiter for the Sanderling Resort, in the Outer Banks of NC. I start 2009 as a business owner, with a 2nd degree on its way, and an increasing revenue stream.

So, from the time I turned 22, to today, these are the things that marked me the most:

• 5 days before I turned 22, I got married to Anastasiya Bezugla, my beautiful Ukrainian bride.
• On May 20th, my son Leonardo Bezugla Saraceni was born!

And the thought of a family of my own triggered the $ sign on my head. I want to give them the best; I want to take them to Brazil, to Ukraine, and my son to go to the best schools, have the nicest toys…

And I’d not accomplish that by bartending or bookkeeping. Not a chance!

• I started my own importing business: I had everything set up, contacts, vendors, business plan: the US customs pratically shut me down I did not have enough knowledge or capital to face the US Customs.

But I realized I had become psychologically unemployable, and began my search for my own business.

Without much research (I knew nothing about the industry),

• I jumped into an amazing direct sales opportunity with a personal development company. That was 3 months ago.

My learning curve has grown exponentially. I’ve come to “know” amazing marketers,  and their inspirational stories. And even though my sleep time has reduced drastically, I feel more alive than ever by the amount of knowledge I am just going to DEVOUR to succeed in this business.

Finally, something I can control: my success (or lack of) is my responsibility. Nobody else’s. No bosses, no schedules, no limitations. Only me and what I can learn and do.

By the time I turn 24, I’ll be enjoying my family more than ever.

Here are the reasons why:

• I’ll have my second degree (the first on a non-native language)
• I’ll dominate my niche and position myself as a leader, which will guarantee me a place amongst the top earners.
• My Social Media (facebook / twitter) participation will bring a steady stream of business partners and generate enough passive income to allow me to focus on what interests me only:

Family, Learning, Cooking, Jiu-Jitsu, and Wines.

Keep close attention, this year-to-come, I’ll become a major part of your business plan.

I decided to write an introductory post about me after some folks questioned my experience and knowledge, due to my age. This will explain a little of my journey, and why my entrepreneurial journey can be of assistance to others.

Who Is Leonardo Saraceni?

I’ve always been thirsty for success, in all areas of my life. Even though I’m young, (22 yrs old), I’ve always pushed myself to be successful in my objectives, setting goals a little bit higher all the time. I’m constantly working on my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt, and I’m on my way to a purple belt, in less than 2 years. I’m also a very passionate certifiied mixologist, a huge fan of wines, having worked as WIne Director for a restaurant without ever taking any regular classes.

Back in Brazil, my home country, I paid for College running my own catering business; a group of highly talented FlairBartenders would set up our mobile bar and take over the party with Fire and Flair presentations. It was a heck of a lot of fun! Crazy hours, funny people, outrageous parties, and 3 years of zombie-like behavior in college. The business did pretty well, I managed to live a very comfortable life-style while studying, but I could not be away from any event; the company owned me. I was 21 and felt 42!

And you’re in Networking Marketing?

After getting my Bacharel in Marketing from the Anhembi-Morumbi University in Sao Paulo, Brazil, I had the opportunity to come to the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina, and work for this very expensive resort, helping them with their Banquets and Special Functions. I basically switched languages while keeping my schedule at 70+ hours/week.

Over the course of an year, I was ready for some change. I had enrolled in college here, to improve my skills, and managing both for another 3 years was not acceptable. I turned to my internal entrepreneur and asked him if he was ready to open another catering company; he did not. In a desperate “how to quit my job” search on Google, I found the opportunity I was asking for, my own Home-Business.

And How Is that Going?

Network Marketing has just wrapped up everything I thrive on: the challenge, the constant push for more – information, knowledge – and the ability to be successful professionally and still conduct a blissful social and family life.

This enterprise has already given me more information than I can digest in 100 years, and I’m glad to be part of it. From now on, I’ll be applying myself as much I can into my business and my personal development.
